A card payment / bank transfer is required to secure your booking and deposits may be transferred via your bank for the exclusive hire of the house – A 20% deposit is payable to confirm your booking, and is refundable up to 30 days before your event.
Cancellation Policy for Exclusive hire.
Booking deposits are non refundable. In the event of a cancellation, we will work with you to try and confirm an alternative date. Complete cancellation may result in a 100% charge.
Damage deposit
A damage deposit of €1500 is payable by cash, card or bank transfer on arrival and will be returned seven days after your departure, once we have been satisfied that no damage or breakage has occurred to warrant compensation. Excessive damage/breakage to the property or its contents may result in further charges in the event of damages amounting to in excess of €1500. Loughton House has been restored to its Georgian glory and we want our guests to enjoy the experience. We respectfully implore that visitors coming to stay at Loughton will respect the property and its carefully procured contents.
Please note smoking or e-cigarettes/vaping is strictly not permitted in any of the rooms in the house and is subject to a €1000.00 deep-cleaning charge per room. STRICTLY NO SMOKING / E-CIGARETTES / VAPING ALLOWED IN ANY ROOM INDOORS.
